SPRING 2012 RTW IN REVIEW (PART 1)

Last month saw the close of the Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear shows and presentations in Paris, London, Milan and NYC, showcasing all of the exciting looks for next season.

At Junk Food Clothing, we keenly watch for jersey knit and graphic inspiration and have compiled a few of the more interesting looks that caught our attention...

Americana references were definitely a strong theme across many of the shows. We love this raglan sweatshirt with contrasting sleeve colors by MARC by Marc Jacobs, and the simplicity of the left chest graphic.  Similarly D Squared were using lots of red, white and blue whilst creating a faux festival feel, beer bottles included...

Isabel Marant took a more athletic spin on the all-american feel with exploded collegiate number on oversized slub football tees.

Exploded imagery was prevelant and we fell in love with Topshop Unique's oversized sweatshirt dress with a huge homage to the late, great Elizabeth Taylor.

...more of our favorites tomorrow
