JUNK FOOD CLOTHING / CANNONDALE BIKES COLLABORATION

Junk Food Clothing are excited to share with you the first or two, collaborations with Cannondale bikes!

We were invited to create a new take on Cannondale's classic Bad Boy bike, that would be conceived for Re:Mix Lab, Antenna Magazine's five-city wide traveling art show.  Visiting Chicago, NYC, Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles, the ReMix Lab consists of gallery installations, live performances and film premiers and our unique take on the classic Cannondale bike.

Our team started with the Bad Boys signature black matte base and from there took it to a place with a more Junk Food attitude.  Inspired by biker gangs and adopting a more heritage feel, the look our team created stays true to Cannondale's advanced components but with a 50's motorcycle-club aesthetic.  The design also offers custom leather accessories - a leather saddle bag that can carry a rolled up Junk Food Tee, and a leather tool bag/satchel that fits on the bike frame.

Here Demetrius May and Mike Palermo, who made this vision a reality, give you insight into the creative process behind the project.

The finished product is an incredible matte green, one of a kind bike that has all the authentic details that we pride ourselves on at Junk Food.

The tour and the Junk Food Bad boy will be hitting Miami, December 3rd, and then onto its final stop in L.A, December 7th to 11th.  Check www.remix-lab.com/ for updated information.
