DANIELLE VISITS PORTLAND

Our juniors artist Danielle recently took a trip back to her home town of Portland, Oregan. She went on the Goonies trail, visited the Portland Rose Gardens but most importantly indulged in some amazing baked goods!!! First stop was Saint Cupcake, a favorite amongst locals, to sample some of their delicious cakes. The next port of call was the famous Voodoo Doughnuts….all i can say is wow!!! Check out the website to see the full menu of delights (www.voodoodoughnut.com), but Danielle and Co sampled the Bacon maple bar, the Butterfingering, the Portland Cream and the aptly named "Ol' Dirty Bastard"…If only they delivered to L.A.!!

Since seeing Florence Welsh live at the Greek Theater last month I've developed a mega girl crush on her and her wardrobe…the girl can do no wrong and those LUNGS!!

LOLLAPOLOOZA WEEKEND

This weekend Grant Park, Chicago will be taken over for the annual Lollapolooza Music Festival.  Having been lucky enough to have visited Lollapolooza before one thing that I always remember about it was how much of an emphasis people there put on style. As a festival-virgin I had totally packed for comfort and instantly felt mad at myself for not having made more of an effort….!!!
