BuzzFeed posted a great article this week showing how far our beloved superheroes have come in the style department...

I think we can all agree that, in particular, the latest reincarnation of Superman is a major leap forward from the DC costume department...ditching the underpants over the tights (and gaining a certain Henry Cavill) has done wonders!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

It's with great sadness that we come to you this morning, following the events that occurred in Aurora, Colorado.  No doubt you will be waking up to the horrific news, and we want to offer our condolences to the victims and their families.  Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

We have been waiting SO long for this and at last, Christopher Nolan's final Batman film will be released to theaters.  Christian Bale reprises his role as the Dark Knight and is joined by Tom Hardy, who looks TERRIFYING as Bane, and Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman.  As it stands I'm pretty on the fence about Anne Hathaway in this role, and still deem Michelle Pfeiffer as the best Cat Woman to date.  Do you think Anne can pull off the ultimate bad girl role?

The team at Junk Food HQ are going to hold out and watch the film on tuesday as a team...we'll let you know our review!
