THE MUPPETS MAKE IT ONTO THE WALK OF FAME

A bit of important local news for you....Yesterday marked a big day in Muppet history - they became the proud owners of the 2,466th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the El Capitan Theatre, in Hollywood California!
Miss Piggy, Gonzo the Great and Kermit the Frog, were there in person to receive the honor, along with Lisa and Brian Henson, the daughter and son of the legendary Muppets creator Jim Henson.  This honor is off the back of the Muppets return to the big screen alongside Amy Adams and Jason Segel, in last year's hit film "The Muppets".

The Huffington Post reports that Kermit, whose first TV appearance was in 1955, said: "I want to say on behalf of the Muppets that we are just really happy to be here on Hollywood Boulevard joining some of the greatest names in showbiz."

BONEFACE ARTWORK

Boneface is a Liverpool, England based illustrator who is responsible for these zingy colored renditions of super heroes.  You see many artists interpretations of these iconic heroes, but the inky lines mixed with this pop art coloration takes these to another level. LA'S BEST PARK DAY

LA's Best is a fantastic local organization, set up back in 1988, with the mission to provide adequate after school services to children in vulnerable neighborhoods.   They recently organised a park day for students from Alta Loma, Wilshire Crest and Arlington Heights schools, providing the kids with an afternoon of fun and games, food and treats!  Junk Food was on hand to provide tees for the kids who loved them!
