TAKING BAKING TO A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL

Not wanting to big up my baking prowess too much, BUT... Danielle, our resident baker-extraordinaire, and myself, her willing apprentice, baked this incredible hamburger cake for artist Tristan's 30th birthday.

He is a big fan of junk food, no pun intended, so a hamburger cake seemed the perfect gift to welcome him into middle age.... We were inspired by this cake that we saw online so we freestyled by baking two sponge cakes as the bun, a chocolate cake for the burger, frosting for the mayo, lettuce, tomato and mustard, and finally fondont for the cheese. It was a fun baking adventure, and went down a treat in the office!

COACHELLA BEGINS THIS WEEKEND...

Are you going this year?

Back for not one, but TWO weekends, the desert festival is renowned for attracting fashionista's, so if you are visiting you had better get your style on!  Bohemian chic seems to be the staple at Coachella, but good old rock 'n' roll styling always make an appearance, and neon hues pop under that Palm Springs sun.
